Sacred Nature Coaching and LaPrairie Photography - Kindred Spirits Create the Curious Nature Podcast
/I've always been passionate about photography and nature (not nature photography), and when Olivia Bowen, the founder of Sacred Nature Coaching, approached me to photograph her business, I knew it was kismet: my photography skills would help her attract her ideal clients.
Sacred Nature Coaching helps people reconnect with their intuition and innate power, and Olivia knew she needed great on-brand photographs to use in her marketing.. She set out to create a website and social media presence that would attract those who were looking for a deeper connection with themselves and with nature, and who were ready to do deeply transformational work.
It’s important to have beautiful photos, but I also wanted them to be authentic and reflective of the work that Olivia does. I took photos of Olivia in nature, working with clients, and leading a group of women at the first Sacred Nature Retreat. These images are from our time before her clients showed up for a weekend of wellness and wonder.
After working with me in 2021, Olivia had the right pictures to launch her website and social media. As her business evolved, she wanted her photo assets to reflect that, so we’ve been working together consistently for the past few years. I love capturing Olivia and her clients, and she loves having a steady supply of pictures that reflect the growth in her work to use in her marketing.
Olivia is a gifted coach and teacher, and has even coached me through some deep and powerful transformation. I am so grateful to have photographed this woman, who is such an inspiration to me, and I feel that I captured her strength and beauty in these images. But before I get ahead of myself, I want to tell you about one of the best parts of meeting someone who is passionate about the same things that you are, but maybe has a little more insight and knowledge to add to your intense curiosity and artistic view.
As mentioned, Olivia and I grew in our business relationships and enjoyed working together so much that we came to realize we had something incredible to share with all of you. So with our combined interests and passions we decided to create a podcast, for you, Curious Ones.
The Curious Nature Podcast will launch on August 30th, 2023!
So follow along with hosts, ICF-certified life coach Olivia Bowen (see above!) and personal branding photographer Meghan LaPrairie (that's me!), on a journey to explore the wisdom of nature, our role in it, and how we can be loving stewards of the earth.
In each episode, Olivia and I chat with each other, and sometimes a special guest, about a different aspect of nature, from the Wheel of the Year to the importance of the Water Cycle. We'll also share our own experiences and insights on how we can all connect more deeply with the natural world.
